Choreographer, dancer, and facilitator Shavon Norris explores the sounds, words, languages, doctrines, people(s), places, and objects that flooded her developing mind, body, and spirit in this solo performance. It is a love letter and a challenge to the biological, cultural, and historical artifacts and fossils in her blood and in her vision.

Multidisciplinary choreographer & performer Alethea Pace presents an exclusive glimpse into "between wave and water," a multimedia performance-walk rooted in reclaiming the history of an African Burial Ground in Hunts Point scheduled for September 2024. Through storytelling and song & dance, a contemporary Bronx Trickster character leads a time-traveling journey while exposing our complex entanglement with history.
BAAD! has bloomed into a nationally-recognized arts organization firmly situated as a stakeholder in the Bronx that brings a queer perspective to the socio-political/cultural dialogue of our borough and city.
